Camp Sewee offers modern, climate-controlled dorms with bunk-style beds and indoor bathrooms for up to 62 guests. We have just added two climate controlled yurts that include an additional 30 bunk-style beds. Also, a waterfront tent camping area for an immersive outdoor experience can accommodate up to 100 tents.
Camp Sewee has two meeting space options. Our large meeting room has capacity for up to 75 participants, and is ideal for presentations or fun group activities. Our scenic campfire ring has seating for up to 65 and is a perfect outdoor space for making memories.
Camp Sewee, offers a unique coastal retreat for groups of all ages and sizes. With access to nearby barrier islands, Camp Sewee provides year-round opportunities to explore the South Carolina Coast.
Camp Sewee is tucked away just north of historic Charleston, in Awendaw, SC. The site is surrounded by the Francis Marion National Forest and located along the Intracoastal Waterway where visitors can immerse themselves in the coastal environment. Features include lodging, a fishing dock, ample field space, and boat ramp access. Guided activities include crabbing and cast netting, salt marsh expedition, tour of the intracoastal waterway, barrier island beach expedition, maritime forest exploration, and more!
